Welcome to the BaseballCloud Inside Pitch! This newsletter is going to be a way for coaches and players to stay up-to-date on what is going on in the BaseballCloud world with new product updates and releases. This newsletter will also feature some content that has recently been posted on the BCBlog and our Twitter account.
Back in June, we were featured in an article written by Joe Lemire of SportTechie, where he highlighted some of our core products including BCTeam and PitchR. He also told the story of former New York Mets scout and current BaseballCloud employee, Jon Updike, and how the Mets were able to select Matt Allan in the third round of the 2019 MLB draft. The scouting and drafting process is changing quickly and this article details exactly how technology is impacting the game of baseball in many different ways. In 2021, we are looking forward to launching our reporting product, AnalyzR. This product will have over 25 report templates to choose from, including camp reports and scouting reports that will be automated from the CSV files uploaded. We have already begun to work with schools and agencies on building custom reports for their players, so if you would like to learn more please reach out to Brooks Robinson, Director of College Operations (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Eric Sexton, Director of Agency Relations (email@example.com). Below are some examples of our current reports being sent out.
